Industry News

David has been working and testing with many of the company dealing with topical protection with marbles. Marble is now the hot item in the industry but
The consumers are finding out how sensitive marble really is. This coatings like Tuff Skin which ESP provides and has been out there for about 10 year now and many others are just getting  started.  ESP has been working with Tuff Skin for the last 7 years now.

David finally found a repair kit to fix blemishes, lite scratches, and other problems with ES or Engineered stone/Quartz. This kit is really cool and finely the material c an be fixed. One of the best ES/Quartz's materials happens to be LG and Cambria. The material from the far east happens to be of a different material and is much softer and harder t o work on. FYI  by the way, the more texture you have in the material the harder it will be. The snake skin or alligator skin is really tough and does not scratch as the fine grain is a bit s ofter and can have problems.

The Best Gift is the Gift of Knowledge

David enjoys sharing his knowledge of natural stones. His next project is to make a video in Spanish for cleaning companies to use to train their staffs on properly cleaning natural stone in homes and businesses.

Here are some links to educational information from the MIA/Natural Stone Institute. Enjoy!

This  Month's Recipe

Well it's November and after eating the Turkey you can't eat it night after night after night
So try a salad in the Turkey wrap with nuts and apples. I know yummy!

These little guys are endlessly riffable. Throw in chili flakes, cumin seeds, fresh oregano, or any other flavors you love. Try adding nuts and mushrooms.

INGREDIENTS

1 lb.
Brussels sprouts
1 tbsp.
extra-virgin olive oil
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Juice of 1/2 lemon
garlic clove, minced

DIRECTIONS

1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil. Once hot, add your brussel sprouts and shake pan so all cut sides of sprouts settle cut side down in a single layer. Cook undisturbed 5 to 7 minutes, until cut sides of sprouts become caramelized.

2. Stir and continue to cook until sprouts have taken on color and become tender, 6 to 8 minutes more. Season with salt and pepper, squeeze lemon, and add garlic. Stir and cook 1 minute longer.

Dave say's to put Tin Foil over the top of them during the process, they will cook more thoroughly and be tender and more crispy.
