Community Day Donations
We are still collecting donated items - individual packages of Goldfish crackers, granola bars, fruit snacks and juice boxes for our day of service on Friday, October 5. Items can be dropped off in the main lobby. We are most grateful for your support!

Open House - Sunday, October 7
Spread the news of our Open House on October 7 from 12-3! Parents and prospective students will get tours, listen to teachers, and meet with students about the exceptional academic experience at Saint Basil Academy.

Counseling & College Services
PSAT, preACT & SAT:
All students in grades 9-11 will be testing on October 10. The freshman will take the PSAT 8/9; sophomores will take the preACT; and juniors will take the PSAT/NMSQT.
SENIORS who have signed up for the SAT School Day Test will also be testing on the 10th.
ALL testing will begin promptly at 8:00am on October 10. Dismissal times will vary based on the test, but please plan on students being here for approximately three hours. The SAT test takers will be here longer.
JET Tour:
On Thursday October 11, SBA will be hosting the
Jesuit Excellence Tour during the lunch period. Jesuit Colleges & Universities attending are: Canisius, Fairfield, Holy Cross, LeMoyne, Loyola Chicago, Loyola Maryland, Loyola New Orleans, Marquette, St. Joe's, St. Louis, St. Peter's, Scranton, San Francisco, Wheeling Jesuit and Xavier.

Reminder to all Juniors and Junior Parents - Class Ring
Ring Mass will be Monday, November 5. If you have purchased a ring, please make sure you pay any balance that might be due directly to Gary Lehman at Herff Jones Inc. If you did not purchase a ring this past Spring and now wish to do so, there is still time. Please contact Gary Lehman at 215-245-8660 to order. Also, any other questions regarding your ring purchase should be directed to Gary. Thank you.

MAMMA MIA : Get excited! Auditions will be in December but we will be doing some dance/song rehearsals in anticipation of those dates. Details to follow! We are in need of
male participants.
There will be a dance rehearsal on Saturday, October 20 from 9am to 12pm for anyone interested in Mamma Mia. This rehearsal is NOT mandatory.
NYC Trip is Wednesday, April 17 to see
Anastasia.
Trip Tickets are $105 and include bus, show ticket and class. Downpayment needs to be in no later than October 31 to secure your spot. This is on a first come, first serve basis and you must be an active member of Drama Club to attend the trip.

New York City Bus Trip, Friday, December 14:
Reserve early for our annual Bus Trip to New York. The trip sells out quickly!
Sit back relax let someone else fight the traffic.
Then take in a show, enjoy the Christmas lights and Christmas tree or just shop until you drop! Purchase tickets online or download the information and send a check to school to the attention of Parents' Club/New York Trip.
Departure from SBA: 8:00 am
Return to SBA: 8:30 pm
