Trinity recently honored Torey Thomas by retiring his jersey. The gym was packed to capacity. Crusaders from the ‘00s showed up in force. Younger alums home from college were in attendance, too.

So we’ve got this one down: Three Kings: check; from the East: check; and bringing Gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh: check. Wonderful. Epiphany: job done.

Still Time to Apply for the Following Scholarships: Deadline is January 15th

  • Brian Bill: open to male and female students in their junior year at Trinity. Awarded scholarship will be applied to their senior year TCHS tuition
  • William Nayden: open to male and female students in their freshman, sophomore and junior years at Trinity. Awarded scholarship will be applied to their next year’s tuition. Even if you are currently a Nayden scholarship recipient, you must apply every year. Must also complete a FACTS application.
  • Mickey Lione: open to male and female students in their sophomore year at TCHS. Awarded scholarship is applied to their freshmen college tuition.
  • Tristan Lippman: open to male and female students in their junior year at TCHS. Awarded scholarship will apply to their senior TCHS tuition. If a winner, student must commit to 20 hours of community service at the Stamford Museum and Nature Center before May of their senior year.
  • Stamford Columbiette: open to female students in their freshman and sophomore year at Trinity. Awarded scholarship will be applied to their next year’s tuition at TCHS.
  • O’Malley: open to male and female students in their freshman, sophomore and junior year at Trinity. Parent must be a Stamford/Greenwich police officer, fire fighter or nurse at Stamford Hospital or Greenwich Hospital. Award is 80% of tuition and is renewable and contingent upon students maintaining a strong academic performance.
Re-Enrollment Reminder

Our re-enrollment package has been sent home to all 9th, 10th, and 11th grade families. Your complete registration package includes your enrollment form, your $250 fee ($200 registration fee and $50 Home School Association dues) and your completed FACTS application (where applicable). Note: families must re-apply each year for financial assistance).   Re-enrollment Form + Cover Letter
You can also find the Re-enrollment form and letter on the website under Admissions. And there are hard copies of the Re-enrollment form in the main office. Late fee applied after January 24th.

Our early-bird special this year: Paperwork postmarked (or processed on-line):
  • by January 9th (TODAY) - due to a computer glich, electronic re-enrollment was extended to midnight tonight, January 9th - your re-enrollment fee is discounted to $150
  • between January 10th and January 24th, your fee is the full $250
  • hard copy paperwork or on-line registration after the 24th, a fee of $350 is required.

A reminder email on how to re-enroll electronically was sent to each family from kszymanowski@trinitycatholic.org . The subject line: TRINITY CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL: Please Re-Enroll (child's name)... Each email is student specific.

The second paragraph is "2020-21 Re-Enrollment Form". This is a unique link specific to your family - clicking the link will take you to your child's page to complete the form electronically and submit your $150 fee. The application window for financial aid is now open.

Please go to  FACTS  to start your application for the 2020-21 school year. From the home page, select Parent Log In at the top right, and then Payment Plans/Financial Aid. As a reminder, even if you applied and received assistance this year, you  must   re-apply for next year.

Financial Aid application review has begun so don't wait to start your application.

Senior Kiera Fenske committed to play basketball for Montclair State University for next year. She was granted a National Student Scholarship and a Merit Scholarship for her academic achievement.

Knights of Columbus Basketball Free Throw

Knights of Columbus Council #5833 is sponsoring our annual Basketball Free Throw Championship. All boys and girls, ages 9-14 (as of January 1, 2020), are eligible to participate and will compete in their respective age division.

Date:    Saturday, January 25, 2020
Time:    3:00 pm (Registration begins at 2:30 pm)

All contestants on the local level are recognized for their participation in the event. Participants are required to furnish proof of age and written parental consent. For entry forms or additional information contact us at KofC5833@gmail.com .

The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship is sponsored annually, with winners progressing through local, district, and state competitions. International champions are announced by the K of C international headquarters based on scores from the state-level competitions. Last year, approximately 120,000 children participated in more than 3,600 local competitions.

Boys Basketball -  The boys season is underway, they are 3-2, with a big 64-47 victory over rival St Joseph’s on 1/7.

Girls basketball - The Lady Crusaders, defending state champions, are 2-5 on the season. The girls have played some tough competition. Working a couple new players into rotation, the team continues to work hard.  

Ice Hockey - The Crusader hockey team is off to a great start! They are giving their best effort and they have two wins under their belt already! These guys skate hard and #NeverGiveUp.
Parents/Coaches, have some great shots? Bring in a flash drive or upload them to your Google Drive and share with Jen. Coaches you can also send game highlights!
