Florida State Law Summer Program
Application deadline:  Friday, March 24..
The Donald J. Weidner Summer for Undergraduates Program, sponsored by Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee, Florida, has for 25 years offered this program to give college students an "inside look" at law school and the legal profession and to help them decide whether law is a wise choice for their professional careers.  The next program will take place May 15-June 8, 2017.  We anticipate convening a class of 60 students from throughout the country.

Program participants take daily classes taught by law professors, attend academic and professional development workshops, and take field trips to area courts and law firms during the four weeks.  There is no fee to apply or program expenses, except transportation to and from Tallahassee (for which we provide a $500 stipend at the end of the program).  We have posted some helpful information on our Web site, including details on how to apply, frequently asked questions, and a program video.  Our online application is very user-friendly, allowing students to submit all of their supplemental documents electronically (including letters of recommendation).
