Today, TANYS joins organizations across New York State to participate in the second annual
#NYGivesDay, a 24-hour online fundraising challenge to celebrate nonprofits throughout New York State. Developed and hosted by the
New York Council of Nonprofits (NYCON) and
United Way of New York State, #NYGivesDay occurs in tandem with
#GivingTuesday, the global day of giving that kicks off the charitable season... when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving, a counterbalance to the consumer frenzy of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
