A MESSAGE FROM MAYOR KLING
Can you believe it will be May 1st tomorrow? I don't know about you, but this year has already gone by very quickly. The City of Nampa team is busy preparing the preliminary budget for fiscal year 2022 (which begins October 1). The proposed budget is anticipated to be available for public review June 28 and we plan on hosting a recorded community-level presentation on Tues., June 29.

Next week, the Kiwanis Club of Nampa will present the 44th annual "Mayor's Community Prayer Breakfast," which is also part of the National Day of Prayer. I hope you will join me at 7 a.m. Thurs., May 6 at the Nampa Civic Center as our community comes together for this non-denominational event featuring special guest speaker Doug Armstrong. There will also be special performances by Nampa Christian High School Xairo. I believe today is the last day to RSVP, but you may also call 208-442-3232 for more details. I hope to see you there!
