Greetings!
Trainer's EDGE is coming up on May 1st! This course is required for all District and Council-level trainers, and is highly recommended for all leaders involved in Packs, Troops, Crews, Posts, Ships, District, and Council. The goal of this course is to help leaders develop, practice, and hone multiple skills and forms of communication essential for both trainers and leaders. Registration closes on April 24th at 5 p.m.
Get Ready to Pedal
Biking Into Spring's new date of May 8th is quickly approaching! The event will be a day event, but Packs and families can campout on their own after the event for free. Registration closes on May 5th at 5 p.m., so don't miss your chance to register. Along with biking there will be plenty of outdoor sporting activities and games for all to enjoy!
Sporting Scouts
With the warm weather comes great opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Cardinal and Arrohattoc Districts are inviting everyone out to take in the rays while enjoying a couple outdoor sporting activities. Cardinal District wants everyone to grab a club on April 21 for the FORE Scouting event at Drive Shack. Arrohattoc District is going to be reeling them in at their Fishing Fun Day at Albright Scout Reservation on May 1.
Sign up for our information session! Philmont Scout Ranch is a national high adventure base, owned and operated by the Boy Scouts of America. Philmont is large, comprising 137,493 acres or about 215 square miles of rugged mountain wilderness in the Sangre de Cristo (Blood of Christ) range of the Rockies.
