PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
This week we welcomed Kristin Keen from ReThreaded to our meeting. Ms. Keen informed us that Jacksonville is a large market for human trafficking and that trafficking does not always mean what most people think of. Additionally, Ms. Keen explained how ReThreaded is able to help the people they save from trafficking by giving them the opportunity to finally add skills and work history to their resumes. ReThreaded has recently entered into an agreement to move to a new, much larger location which will help them serve more people trying to better their circumstances and escape human trafficking.
