John Ireland School Sixth Grade

Last Week I read several Christmas Picture books to the sixth graders this week, and they either did some creative writing in their journals or made some sketches related to the stories. We had lots of practices for program and some practices for Light of Christ too. Talked about the Ten Commandments in religion class. Advent Activities - Advent Calendars and More Random Acts of Kindness

Next Week We will continue reading our Christmas picture books and complete activities for reading and language arts classes. Tuesday will be Reconciliation with Father Todd in the Chapel. Gathering with kindergarten friends on Tuesday Classroom Party on Thursday afternoon - students can bring Christmas pjs or clothes to change into after Mass. Let's be festive! Thanks to Kyra, Isabelle, and Karli for hosting our Christmas party. Back to School on Wednesday, January 2nd! And if you think I have those three days planned already, think again :-)
