Development Engineering Web Portal Goes Live

After months of preparation and focus group deliberation, the SAWS Development Engineering Web Portal is scheduled to go live March 21st!

Web Portal - Counter Standard Permits
Via the portal, you will be able to apply for Counter Permits, upload documents, see comments from our plan reviewers, and pay impact fees.

Training sessions on using the portal will be offered at SAWS headquarters March 26th through March 30th. Request a training session by emailing sawspermits@saws.org.

On March 21st, a notification will be sent with the link to the web portal along with log in instructions.
Web Portal - Deferred Impact Fees
For customers paying deferred impact fees, all plats added to the SAWS system after June of 2014 will be available. You will be able to search by plat number or address, and either print off the invoice to pay here at our headquarters, or online by ACH transfer.
If an address is not available online, you will
still be able to make a request via email at csgeneral@saws.org .
Utility Locate Service Reminder

Impact Fee Revision Expected June, 2019
Pursuant to Chapter 395 of the Texas Local Government Code, impact fees are to be revised a minimum of every five years. SAWS staff, which will be coordinating with an outside consultant, has begun the process of developing a recommendation for the Board of Trustees.

The Capital Improvements Advisory Committee, comprised of a representative from each council district and the ETJ, advises SAWS staff throughout the process. You can find previous agendas and presentations of the CIAC on their web page.
