COUNSELING CORNER:
Are you looking for a way for your student to prep for ACT or SAT? ACT and SAT are coming up next semester. Khan Academy is a great resource for SAT test prep. They have 8 full practice tests, practice questions with videos to see how to do the problem, mini quizzes, and tips/strategies for taking the SAT. Another great resource is Method Test Prep. You can access this from the Smoky Hill’s website under academics .You will use the same username you have for my.cherrycreekschools.org and the password is your ID. In Method Test Prep you have two full ACT and SAT practice exams, vocabulary builder, lessons, and resource materials. There is a paid prep course, Sycamore Learning Company, that comes to Smoky Hill High School and runs a two day prep course for students. Look for a flyer in the mail in March to register for that course. If you have questions about these resources please reach out to your student’s counselor.
