WCA students had a great day celebrating and learning about the St. Nicolas European tradition. Part of the tradition involves children putting out their shoe the night before and receiving some gifts. Thanks to Annie Maurice, Kara Nikanorov, and our parent volunteers for making this celebration educational and fun for our students.

Boys' Basketball Team
The boys' basketball team made major improvements from the beginning to the end of the season. As coach, I'm extremely proud of how hard our players played in each and every game. Other coaches would mention how hard our kids played game after game, even with a small number of kids. We won and lost together, but at the end of the day, we got better and had a lot of fun. I'm proud of each student's work ethic this basketball season. Our B team will play in a tournament game tonight and try to advance to finals on Tuesday. Nice job on a hard fought season.

This month, Mike Truskowski spent all day working on our bleachers AND spending time in his daughter's Kindergarten classroom! He stayed until 5:00pm on a Friday! He says he loves being a part of the Watch D.O.G.S. program!
WCA is so grateful to the male role models who take time out of their schedules to volunteer at school.
If you are interested in volunteering with Watch D.O.G.S., send an email
here.
Thanks for your support!

Facebook page and follow us on Instagram @wcacougars. Social media is one of the top ways we can increase our visibility, which contributes to growing our enrollment. Help us spread the word by liking our pages and sharing and commenting on posts. We have several consistent highlights each week, including "Why WCA" Wednesday and Thursday Storytime. Our "Why WCA" features come from our very own families, and we invite you to share your story with us. Go

Our Thursday Storytime features a different WCA Teacher/Staff member reading a book. This is a fun way to set us apart as a language immersion school and simply to offer something fun and unique for our families to tune into each week.
