They are; Catholic Faith, Servant Leadership, Moral Virtue, Academic Excellence and Compassionate Community.   The current pandemic requires us to think a bit differently on how we further each of these charisms. Compassionate Community may face the most challenges. Despite these limitations, we are challenged to find ways to do what we can during these times. Next weekend Saint Rose will provide its outdoor family movie night. Pirates Parents Club is planning the annual Trunk or Treat with social distancing guidelines. Mrs. Busse is working to follow safety guidelines and still provide the Book Fair. Following the same safety guidelines that have allowed the school to open, Saint Rose is planning to provide Christmas concerts for our community.   There is much that can still be done. It takes extra effort and planning, but the extra work is worth the opportunities that are to come.  Sincerely,  Dr. Borgelt Uniform Update Please note the uniform update regarding cold weather and gym classes: Gym Class Sweatshirts: On gym days, students may wear crewneck sweatshirts from either the spirit wear sale or any of the official gym uniform sites, i.e. Jupmode. No hoodies should be worn. Students may wear sweatpants from either the spirit wear sale or Jupmode gym uniform website. Students may wear navy blue, royal blue or gray sweatpants with a Saint Rose iron on patch, available for sale in the school office. Placement of the patch should be on the front pocket area.  **Jupmode has expanded its supply of gym uniform sweatpants and sweatshirts for students to wear throughout the day. Please see their site HERE **Don't forget about the Spirit Wear Sale sponsored by Pirates Parent's Club - some of these items may also be worn for gym class! See information and link below to order. DEADLINE TO ORDER SPIRIT WEAR IS THIS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27! Regular In-Class Wear On Non-gym days, students may wear crewneck sweatshirts, school fleece with the crest, button down cardigan with crest, or v-neck sweater with crest. It's time to spread new mulch on our playground! Saturday, October 3 | 10am - 12:30pm This is a great family event and a way to give back to our community.  Middle school students can also earn credit toward their service hour requirements!
