A YEAR END MESSAGE
AND HOLIDAY GREETING
FROM RDGA PRESIDENT
MARK BATTLE
Fellow Rochester golfers,
As I reminisce about the 2018 golfing season in Rochester and write this Year in Review letter from the President, I am reminded of a quote from our Superintendent at Ravenwood who proclaimed, "I find it incredible how slow the days go by sometimes, but how fast the year goes!" 2018 was certainly no exception. It seems like only yesterday we were at Monroe Golf Club in mid-July for our RDGA District Championship John H. Ryan Jr. Memorial, and witnessing Chris Blyth secure his first District title. Now, since we've put our clubs away for yet another winter season, the gray skies and cold, gloomy days just appear to blend into each other and it seems like the days drag on forever. Yet here we are with just a few weeks left in yet another great and transformational year for the Rochester District Golf Association wondering, "where did the year go?"
and Holiday Greeting from RDGA President Mark Battle.

POWER MANAGEMENT
BRAND AMBASSADOR
DOMINIC BOZZELLI
HEADING BACK TO PGA TOUR
WITH CONDITIONAL STATUS
FOR the 2019 SEASON
After nearly a year of injury-related setbacks, followed by a successful return to
PGA Tour
competition this fall,
Rochester's Dominic Bozzelli - a Brand Ambassador for RDGA Corporate Partner Power Management -
is set to return to the 2019 PGA Tour schedule early next year with a newly-earned Conditional Status.
"Earning Conditional status was very big for him because it means he is in a very good position on the current FedEx Cup list (85th place) and well on his way to securing his Card for the
2019-20
season," said Bozzelli's father, Dom Sr., this week. "By no means is it a lock and he still needs to play very well in the remaining events he plays in, but it is a good start. He feels great both mentally and physically and is eager to get back after it in 2019."
