Career Day
We would like to ask for your help. On Feb. 11 CMS will hold Career Day, 2020. This is a half-day program where students are exposed to three (3) different careers of their choice. In order for this program to be successful, we need many parent and community volunteers. We want to have as many careers as possible represented for our students. If you or someone you know would be interested in being a speaker please use this link for more information.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 8TH TO 9TH GRADE COURSE SELECTIONS
CISD utilizes a scheduling system for students called Arena Scheduling. This system, accessible from Skyward's
Student Access, allows our high school and senior high students to create their own schedule, similar to systems used in college. To participate in Arena Scheduling, students enter course requests. After the requests have been reviewed by the counselors, a time is set up where students create their own schedule (within Student Access) from their requested courses. This allows students to have more control over their schedule, and they will know their unofficial schedule by the end of the current school year. Official schedules will be available sometime in August prior to the beginning of the next school year.
Current 8th Grade Students Arena Scheduling will be open - dates to be determined.
If you have any questions regarding HS Scheduling,
please contact the High School Counseling Department.
