(7) Virtual Bone Marrow Drive (Institute Wide)
From JP Bonadonna, Student Government Association

The SGA Community Outreach Committee is partnering with Be the Match to host a Virtual Bone Marrow Drive. Although we are all adhering to stay-at-home practices, there are still ways to assist our community. While the chances of finding a bone marrow match are 77% for white Americans, these numbers are drastically reduced for racial minorities - 57% for American Indian and Alaska Native, 46% for Hispanic or Latinx, 41% for Asian or Pacific Islander, and 23% for Black or African American. Simply register online or by texting MGHIHP to 61474 and a kit will be sent to your home. Don't forget to spread the word to classmates, friends, and family.
