Washington County LUT crews join ODOT at Mt. Hood training
Road crews from LUT's Operations and Maintenance (Ops) Division are participating in snow plowing and sanding operations training on Mt. Hood in collaboration with the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT).
"Our goal is to give crews 'seat time' in snow removal equipment in winter road conditions," said Todd Watkins, Ops Division manager. "We appreciate ODOT's willingness to collaborate with us so we can all proactively provide this training."
The three separate two-day trainings conclude Friday, Dec. 21. Thirteen LUT crew members are participating.
