Bring Addresses and a Pen Sunday!

Greetings!

A personal invitation to our Christmas Eve service?

That’s what St. Auggie’s is sending out to let folks know about our faith, our church, and our Lord.

This coming Sunday, each adult and child will receive three postcards on which to write invitations to our Christmas Eve service, December 24th at 5:30pm.

Members: bring your three names, address, and a pen this Sunday, December 16th, and we’ll get to work sharing the Good News about St. Augustine’s and the birth of our Lord.

The church will mail the cards.
Christmas Eve Service at 5:30pm at Ellsworth Chapel, Central College
On Christmas Eve at St. Augustine's Anglican, poinsettias will grace the chapel, along with candles at the stained-glass windows. The traditional music of Christ's birth will resound through this 100-year-old chapel at Central College. The priests will bless the creche, the manger where Jesus was born. We will hear the Good News in scripture and from the sermon. The incense will purify and sanctify us - , and we will come forward for the Lord's body and blood at the Eucharist. The service will close in twilight as we sing Silent Night holding candles.

The service is at 5:30pm. Invite friends and family, and Come, Let Us Adore Him!

Christmas Sharing Underway!

St. Ann is coordinating our annual Christmas sharing campaign to provide "Santa" for families in need. There is a new addition to the list, and we need your help. Contact her by clicking here . For details, refer to last Sunday's email (December 9th) from Fr. Kevin.
Have you purchased your St. Augustine's Christmas ornament yet??

Thanks to a generous offering from the Winklers, the parish is selling custom-designed St. Augustine's 2018 Christmas ornaments to support the building fund. The ornaments are $10.00 apiece . Make checks payable to the church, and designate the building fund in the memo line. Thank you, Winklers for this gift to the future home of St. Augustine's!
Sharon M. has put out an all-points bulletin for bakers (and grocery shoppers) to provide snakes - I mean - SNACKS for Sunday fellowship. Can you help? Please let her know Sunday and she will sign you up!

Thank you to all who work behind the scenes to make our fellowship time special. There are several men and women making coffee and providing goodies, and they do it quietly, with no expectation of thanks. God bless you all.
