The Homework Wars Workshop
January 7th, 2019 at 6:30PM
Dr. Robert Fox, OD, FCOVD will present"THE HOMEWORK WARS” Workshop at the Sidney Albert Albany Jewish Community Center at 340 Whitehall Road, Albany, NY 12208 on January 7th, 2019 at 6:30 PM.

Does it take hours for your child to complete 20 minutes of homework? Perhaps his or her grades do not reflect the intelligence you know is there. Do you feel that despite all of your attempts to help, something is interfering with your child's learning? If any of the symptoms below sound like your child, please join us at this informative workshop. If vision is the problem, there is help and you are not alone. 1 in 4 children have a specific vision problem which interferes with learning.

Kaitlyn Dittmar,
Certified Vision Therapist
An Inspiration To Us All!
Kaitlyn Dittmar, Certified Vision Therapist, joined the staff of Fox Vision in May of 2014. Originally from Western NY, she is a graduate of SUNY Oneonta (’11) with a bachelor’s degree in Childhood Education and Literacy. Her previous experiences includes work in the fields of elementary education and childcare. Having seen how often children can struggle with classroom learning, Kaitlyn loves helping patients figure out how to work through challenges and reach their full potential through vision therapy. When not at Fox Vision, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her husband, playing tabletop games, and volunteering in her church community.

At Fox Vision Development Center, Kaitlyn greatly enjoys working with her pediatric and adult patients. She is often described by her patients as: soft-spoken, kind-spirited, very knowledgable, and has genuine heart. She truly cares about her patients and their success with vision therapy. She has attended many trainings to enhance her education to ensure that her patients reach their maximum potential.

Kaitlyn wears many hats at the office and is always willing to help out in other departments. You will often see her helping out in the front office. Kaitlyn is very versatile and always willing to give a hand. Not only does she help out at the front, but she also helps with marketing.

What makes Kaitlyn so incredibly special at being a vision therapist? Kaitlyn gives so much of herself to others, she works hard to ensure that her patients are reaching their goals, and never gives up. She has passion for helping others, natural leadership abilities, and a heart of gold.

We are extremely lucky to have her at Fox Vision Development Center ! Thank you, Kaitlyn, for being an asset to the team and an inspiration to us all.
