DECEMBER 2018
As we wind down our hectic Fall session in both Toronto and Burlington, our competitive players are preparing to move into a highly competitive phase, starting with two of our premier annual tournaments at the Cedar Springs Club in Burlington; the $10,000 Ace Indoor Open from December 18 - 24, followed by the Ace Super Series from December 26 - January 1. The Holiday Camps which will be held at Toronto Tennis City during the Christmas period (see below) should also serve to prepare our players in Toronto for the various upcoming Selection events in January.
It was great to see the outstanding results of so many of our players competing through the Fall at the numerous events we staged at the Cedar Springs Club, and at other tournaments (see highlights below). Many of our younger players had an enjoyable experience competing for their teams, while guided by Ace coaches at the OTA U10 and U12 Team Events.

Our Progressive classes have been a bee hive of activity, and we expect high registrations for our upcoming Winter session (see below). The Cedar Springs Club has numerous initiatives on track through the Winter season ( CS website), and we are proud to be be an excellent option for the children of families coming into the club to learn tennis. Lastly; let me share with you an important   article to read , on sports and life expectancy, and with that we  take this opportunity to thank all of you, and  wish you a safe and peaceful holiday season, and a Happy New Year when it comes!!

TEAM HEAD - Ivan Ljubicic's Insights: FEAR
There are a few players who thrive in a competitive environment, but many struggle to deal with the stress and pressure they put on themselves when competing.      Read MORE HERE

Pierre Lamarche
Founder ACE TENNIS
INTENSITY, LEG GAME - the British Taymus Muhammad, age 12 - is very impressive!

Click on the link below, and take a look at the movement and the intensity, against a wall, on bricks, he's a coaches dream and a leftie as well! As long as the parents make the right decision, so rare now, the internet has made experts of everyone. Thiem, Zverev, Murray, Nadal, Djokovic -  long term consistent management by real coaches, what a shame for those kids who will miss the proper guidance in their formative years. The difference is as simple as top 100 or top 10, or top 10 and #1, Kyrios, Bagdatis and so many others....hard to accept when it is a kid and parents that you care for.
