What is your favorite sport and why?

Soccer for sure! I played from age five thru three years in college. What I enjoyed is three part:
1) I enjoyed being part of a team, you need to rely on everyone on the team.
2) I enjoyed the conditioning it took, running almost the entire 90 minutes.
3) I enjoyed how physical the game was!

Book Club - The Lamplighter
secondhand_bookshop.jpg
New Additional Book Club - The Lamplighter! It is put out by Lamplighter Ministries and is a monthly book club, where our school will receive a small portion of what is purchased. Here is an excerpt from their welcome letter: "Stories help define the moral compass of our children. In a culture sedated by images that darken the imagination and deaden discernment, Lamplighter is lighting a fire for an awakening of godly character, bravery, integrity, faith and respect for others. Lamplighter stories are distinctive. Rather than producing more entertainment-driven literature, Lamplighter has collected and now publishes a rare collection of literature from the 17th-19th centuries that is infused with gripping accounts of heroism, sacrifice, humility, perseverance, and hope." Look for the first flyer this week!
