Delicious Menu Planned for Breakfast Sunday on December 16
Join us on Sunday, December 16, for a Christmas feast! Chef Dave and his team will  create a holiday brunch consisting of Christmas Croissant Strata, a pplewood smoked bacon, m aple and sausage biscuits and gravy, crème brûlée  oatmeal with ginger cream sauce, f resh fruit, and beverages. This extra-special Breakfast Sunday will take place between the 9:15 and 11:15 a.m. services. Want to help? Contact Chef Dave.
Christmas Flower Deadline
Christmas flower envelopes are now available. If you didn't receive one in the bulletin this Sunday, you may pick one up at the parish offices. The deadline to return the envelopes is this Sunday, December 16.

Mom's Morning: Thursday, December 13
The December Mom's Bible Study will be tomorrow Thursday, December 13  from 8:45 to 9:30 a.m. in Discovery House (918 Orleans). This month's topic is Prayer and Doubt. What is our response when God doesn't answer our prayers in the way that we would like? Join this fun group of women for an enlightening morning conversation!
Classical Guitar Performance at St. Chad's
The St. Chad's Episcopal Church parish invites you to join them on December 19 at 6:30 p.m. for a  classical guitar performance with Ben Pila. Dr. Pila is a semi-regular performer at the national 9/11 museum where he performed for Pope Francis. He has shared the stage with Barack Obama, George W. Bush, James Taylor, Paul Simon, Itzhak Perlman, and Yo-Yo Ma. He has been featured on The Today Show, and NPR's From the Top. He has won multiple awards for his music, including the ASCAP Best Performance  of a Contemporary Work award.
 
St. Chad's Episcopal Church is located at  5609 North Albany Avenue in  Tampa.The cost is $20 per person suggested donation. Child care is available for a donation of $10 per child. Light refreshments will be served. Call  872.7545 for more information.

Children and Youth
EYC Tacky Christmas Party!
This Sunday, December 16, is our 2nd Annual EYC Tacky Christmas Party, from 4:3 to 6:00 p.m. in Discovery House! Dress in your most festive outfit, invite your friends, and bring a wacky/funny WRAPPED gift (worth $15 or less) to share in our White Elephant gift exchange. It's going to be an awesome night of food, games, and gifts--you don't want to miss it!
2019 Youth Mission Trip: Just a Few Spots Left!
Our 2019 Youth Mission Trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains, NC is almost full! We currently have only two open spots (of 18 total). Our trip will be June 8 through 15, 2019 and a $100 deposit will secure your spot on the trip! While in NC, our group will serve the local community through kids' clubs, nursing homes, and building projects-and on our free day, we will have fun at Carowinds Amusement Park. Don't miss out on the opportunity to participate in this life-changing experience!

Sunday is also our monthly Sandwich Sunday. Please join us in the Parish Hallthe 9:15 a.m. service to make sandwiches and bag lunches for the patrons of Faith Café. Thanks to our hosts for this month, Helen and Bailey Turnquist.

The group continues the study Christianity and World Religions: Questions We Ask About Other Faiths. Adam Hamilton, named by PBS's Religion and Ethics Newsweekly as one of the top "Ten People to Watch," interviews religious leaders in Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, and Judaism, then honestly and respectfully discusses the differences between each and Christianity. This six session DVD series builds bridges without compromising beliefs.
