Public television station to air The Feminine Touch: The Struggle for Equality in Medicine

The Feminine Touch  showcases the valiant women who rose above adversity to become osteopathic physicians in the early years of osteopathic medicine, and includes today's prominent female D.O.s who carry on that legacy. Their fight for equality is intertwined with the struggles of osteopathic medicine to be accepted as a valid scientific practice, illuminating how osteopathic medicine developed into the flourishing profession it is today.
