Dear Friends,
Miss Louise Trotter passed away last night at the age of 96. We will miss the innovative, creative person that she was. Louise loved sharing music. If there was a harp or piano in the room, she'd just sit down and start jamming, playing everybody's favorite tunes! She never turned down a chance to play, and she'd encourage others to join in. She loved her jazz trio with flute and drums. At her senior living center, she'd play piano for the residents every evening during dinner just because she enjoyed it. Even though she was an expert at the harp, she never stopped exploring new aspects of this instrument she loved so much. And who can forget her visual theatrics? Ever the Texas Country & Western girl, Louise wore fringed outfits, impersonated Willie Nelson (complete with braids), and even had a promo shot with a longhorn steer! As her daughter Tracy said, she's now jitterbugging in heaven!
