Women's Tuesday Bible Study
  9:30 AM - Common Grounds

On Tuesdays through December 18 Sherry Bremer and Linda Harrison will be sharing "Advent and The Jesse Tree", a presentation based on Ann Voskamp's book,
The Wonder of the Greatest Gift.

With Linda's guidance, ladies will have an opportunity to make ornaments to take home and use on their own Jesse Tree.  And Sherry will be bringing a teaching each week on preparing for Advent.
The Jesse Tree name comes from Isaiah 11:1, which speaks about a shoot coming forth from the stump of Jesse, the father of David, and prophesies the coming of the Messiah.

Realm Question of the Week

Q & A - I've heard there are going to be some new ways to give in 2019. What are they?

There will be several new ways of giving available in January. You will be able to give online, use a debit or credit card, or even text giving. Stay tuned for details on how you can take advantage of these easier ways to give even when on vacation, or just out of town for the weekend.

HIGHLAND PARK CHRISTMAS CRAWL
Saturday, December 15, 2018
5:30PM - 8:00PM

Kindly join us for some holiday cheer and fellowship. The HP Christmas Crawl is a progressive dinner where we start at the first house for h'orderves, soups and salads, then go together to the  2nd  house  where we enjoy main course foods, then we end the night at the 3rd location for desert. In the past we had 4 locations but people felt they didn't have enough time at each location before they had to move on to the next location so we cut the locations down to 3 with the final location being in the Ann Hardy Park Community Center for the dessert.

The number of guests is limited so RSPV's are required. This is a free event but you must be on the RSVP list. Contact Jo White to RSVP 804-937-6836.
