COATS FOR KIDS COAT DRIVE BY ANTOLIN SHELBY
This time of year is very busy for all of us but we would like to take a moment to ask for your help with a community outreach program that will benefit many children this winter season.

Antolin Shelby has partnered with Utica Community Schools, Shelby Township, the cities of Sterling Heights and Utica for the Coats for Kids drive. This initiative will provide brand new coats, hats and gloves for children in Kindergarten - 6th grade. Many families are struggling and if we can unite in this cause, I believe we will make a difference in our community and the lives of local families.

M-59 RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT UPDATE FROM MDOT:

Last week, MDOT was able to complete the final asphalt on M-59. They have now paved all of the lanes, intersections and the turnarounds. For the remaining work, contractors needs to address a few things like the removal of temporary curb and gutter, placement of new curb and adjusting structures (manholes) up to grade, to name a few. For the most part, this work can be done without taking any additional lane closures.  However, there will be a need to reduce Romeo Plank to one lane and WB M-59 to two lanes for three to four days in order to adjust the structures. This is currently planned for mid-week next week.
