Cumberland Mission Trip Sign Up
This summer, Tabernacle will be partnering again with Concord Baptist Church in Temple, Georgia, to provide a summer day camp at Club 180 Ministries in Cumberland, Kentucky. The day camp operates Monday, July 12, through Thursday, July 15, and offers school aged children from Harlan County the opportunity to learn about Jesus through recreation, crafts, Bible study, and music. The cost to participate is $150.00 per person with a $300.00 cap for families of three or more. Scholarships are available if needed. You may contact Elaine Charles, 770-378-2280, if you are interested in going. The deadline to sign-up is June 20.
Ministry Assistant for Worship
Our current Ministry Assistant for Worship has graduated from college and is beginning a new chapter of her life and we are beginning the search for a new member of our team. If you or someone you know is interested, please send a resume to employment@tabernacle.org and send any questions to james.kimmel@tabernacle.org. The job description can be found at tabernacle.org/employment.
Women's Summer Bible Study
If you are longing for a boldness of faith and confidence in God’s plan, join us on Zoom for the study of Elijah – Faith and Fire by Priscilla Shirer. Priscilla will take us on a 7 session journey through the life and times of Elijah to discover how the fire on Mount Carmel was forged in the valley of famine. And how the emboldened, fiery faith you desire is being fashioned by God in your life right now. This will be a Zoom Video Bible Study facilitated by Jan McPherson on Monday mornings at 10 AM until July 26. There will not be a session on July 5. Register by June 4 on the link below. Space will be limited. Class is limited to 20 ladies.
