Carestream R&D Manufacturing Technology Engineer Lee Runyon received an honorable mention in the
AIMCAL John Matteucci Award for Technical Excellence in Web Coating for his technical paper entitled "CFD Modeling: Key Fields and Numerical Methods to Understand Before Starting Hopper Modeling." Carestream's achievement marks the fourth consecutive year that the company has been honored for its AIMCAL R2R Conference technical paper.
We recently partnered with Coating Tech Slot Dies to host Coating Tech Institute at our White City, OR facility. The two-and-a-half day training session included intensive classroom education on topics ranging from rheology to defect resolution in slot die coating technology, and hands-on demonstrations with our pumping, coating and analytical equipment. Carestream takes pride in sharing our insights with valued customers and partners, so we were pleased to host this educational event.
