NEW IN THE ILLINOIS MEDICAL DISTRICT: DECEMBER 2018
FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Earlier this week, Governor-Elect JB Pritzker announced his transition's Job Creation and Economic Opportunity Committee. I'm honored to have been selected to co-chair the committee, along with  Hispanic Information Technology Executive Council President Omar Duque, Director of Research Park at the University of Illinois Laura Frerichs and Chicago Federation of Labor President Bob Reiter.
The Job Creation and Economic Opportunity committee consists of 37 members, and will work together to promote our state's strengths, lift up the economy in every region of Illinois and build a business climate that both supports small businesses and attracts large corporations. I'm excited to share my experience in working to build the IMD of the future with the committee members to help create a better economic outlook for Illinois.

Finally, I'd like to wish all of our IMD partners a safe and happy holiday season.
