CSG WEST JOINS COALITION LETTER TO EPA REGARDING CLEAN WATER
On December 3rd, CSG West joined a coalition letter to the Honorable David Ross, Assistant Administrator of the Office of Water at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) related to proposed changes to the Clean Water Act (CWA) Section 401. The letter urges the rejection of any changes that may diminish, impair or subordinate state's authorities related to water protection within their respective boundaries. Congratulations to the 2018 Western Legislative Academy graduates! 

Thirty-six western legislators from Alaska, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming gathered in Colorado Springs for three-and-a-half days of intensive leadership training.They return to their respective legislatures with sharpened skills and new relationships to kick off the 2019 legislative session.

Featuring mountains, deserts, dormant volcanoes and waters teeming with marine life, the Baja peninsula is an extremely biodiverse environment. Geographically,  Baja California borders the Pacific Ocean on the west; Sonora, Arizona, and the Gulf of California on the east; Baja California Sur to the south; and California to the north. Throughout its border with California, Baja shares six land ports of entry to the United States.
