This Netflix series is a remake of the popular sitcom of the same name that ran on CBS from 1975-84. The single mom and two children framework of the original has been reconfigured as a single Cuban-American mom and her two wacky and mischievous kids (one son, one daughter). Rita Moreno plays the family's "Abuelita." Check out NPR's alt.Latino interview with Rita Moreno. Learn more about the sitcom.
