Dr. Cheryl Logan provided the Board with the Strategic Plan of Action powered by Foresight.
The development of the Strategic Plan of Action was done through
a comprehensive review of the District that included F
utures Labs, a financial audit, a comprehensive literacy review and an audit of current high school programming. More than 680 hours of input from stakeholders were used in the process.
The Strategic Plan of Action identifies what a portrait of an OPS graduate should look like in the future. It also outlines the shared and owned values of our organization which are Equity, Results, Leadership, Accountability and Joy.
The Strategic Plan of Action priorities are:
- Priority 1: Academics
- Priority 2: Staff
- Priority 3: Financial Accountability
- Priority 4: Ethic of Care
The Board will be provided with updates on the progress twice a year from appropriate departments. Goals and action steps will be reviewed every 18 months to ensure they are still aligned with what the District strives to accomplish.
The Strategic Plan of Action will go before the Board for approval at a future meeting.
