First Eucharist Families
Our First Eucharist candidates celebrated Candle Mass last weekend. This special liturgy reminds us that the light of Christ is within each one of us.
First Eucharist Parent Meetings will be held this coming Monday, February 3rd at 6:40 pm and Tuesday, February 4th at 4:25 pm in the Canfield Education Center.
Babysitting is available for both dates with a reservation. Please call the RE office at 313-885-7022 to hold a spot.
Seventh Grade Families
Your seventh grade son or daughter is invited to the NET (National Evangelization Team) Retreat scheduled for Thursday, March 12, 2020. Additional retreat information and the Parent Permission Form will be mailed to your home mid-February.
NET Ministries is an international youth ministry which aims to challenge young Catholics to love Christ and embrace the life of the Church.They have ministered to over one million young people and have led over 25,000 retreats since 1981. "Teams" of 8-12 volunteers, aged 18-30, devote a year of their lives to travel the country and lead retreats for junior high and high school youth. Families willing to provide hospitality are needed. If your family is willing to host 2-3 members of the NET Team for 1 night during their stay, please call the RE Office at 885-7022.
8th Grade Confirmation Candidates
A letter regarding missing Confirmation paperwork and the "Request for Confirmation Date Selection" form will be mailed home on February 10th. We are asking that all paperwork be completed and returned to the RE office no later than February 28th.
Candidates will receive instruction during class on February 10th/11th for their Letter to the Pastor requesting to be confirmed.

Parent Reminder About Early Pick-Up
If you must pick up your child before class is dismissed, please go to the School Office where a RE secretary is on duty. You must sign your child out and your son or daughter will meet you in the office. We will not release children early unless you first sign them out in the office.
