KIVA: Buy a Holiday Card and Change a Life
Come by the KIVA Card Sale in the church foyer Sunday and buy a $25 holiday card which will give a microfinance loan to help struggling entrepreneurs around the world.
Your card purchases over the years have enabled us to make 4,218 loans to people in 76 countries for a total of $119,675. Each loan helps people build a better future for themselves and their families.
A $25 holiday card will go to Eda Bernardina a 63-year-old Colombian woman who sells traditional cooking beneath a tent in her town square; or Doris, a 25-year-old mother of two in Kenya who works on her family farm growing crops and running a dairy; or one of many others. Hope to see you this Sunday!
