Check Out the New St. James School Website

It’s here! We are excited to announce the new and improved
St. James School Website. As the only Episcopal school in Philadelphia, we have updated our site to show you our work with 87 4th–8th graders, 69 graduates, our growing church community, and many new additions to our campus. Our goal is to help our families, neighbors, volunteers, and supporters easily stay up to date with the latest happenings at SJS!
Some highlights of the new website:
Our Campus — A fun photo gallery shows off our 8 acre campus and recent changes — including The Welcome Table, our community outreach center.
Graduate Support — The office team has grown and now serves 69 graduates, the first of whom are now graduating high school. Stay up to date with what our alumni are working on in their post-secondary educational journeys.
Racial Equity Team — Team members are helping lead reflection and change as we actively seek, challenge, and evaluate racial equity and inclusivity in our policies and practices, from the books we use to our hiring practices.
We hope you visit our site often and stay informed about all that’s happening in our school, church and Allegheny West neighborhood!

Over 90 People Celebrated Advent at Service
|
|
In this season of hope, peace, joy, and love, we held our first-ever St. James Community Advent Lessons & Carols Service on Sunday, December 8th. It was hosted jointly with The Welcome Table and Sunday Night Mass Community. Marking the start of Advent, we celebrated with our students, families, neighbors, and supporters. Diverse voices were heard, including several different choirs, among them our own student choir and a special guest quartet. Students shared their unique gifts, whether reading lessons or singing solos. The service was followed by a community dinner specially prepared by Chef Anthony. Thank you to our St. James Community for a memorable evening!
