HOLIDAY CONCERT TIME
Orchestra: 4-8th grade orchestra students had a spectacular Winter Orchestra Concert on Tuesday, December 3rd! The concert opened with the combined piece  Christmas Canon  performed by the 8th grade orchestra and combined 6, 7, 8th grade choirs with handbells under the direction of Mrs. May. This piece will also be performed at the start of the Winter Choir Concert on Tuesday, December 17th. After the opening number the Fiddle Club performed and then each 4-8th grade orchestra had their own time to shine. Lastly, the closing piece was an arrangement of  Carol of the Bells  with God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen woven in. This piece featured 6, 7, 8th grade orchestras and handbell parts. Congratulations to all of the performers, it was a great way to kick off the holiday performance season here in Lake Geneva!
Band: C ongratulations to the 5th-8th Grade Bands and Jazz Bands for an incredible Winter Concert Tuesday evening! The gift of music is one that keeps on giving.  Thank you to all of the band family and friends that came out to support their student musician!
SPREADING HOLIDAY CHEER
Fiddle Club and Jazz Choir students enjoyed spreading holiday cheer at the museum recently!
The excitement and energy the 7th and 8th grade marching bands brought to the parade was ELECTRIC! These kids work hard everyday and it shows. They continue to inspire me with their compassion for one another, dedication to our program, and their carefree outlook on life. The future is in good hands!
The LGMS Fiddle Club and Jazz Choir performed at a nursing home for a fantastic audience this afternoon. The audience members shared their love for music, that they used to play instruments themselves and sang along to some Christmas favorites.
