We'll begin today's tasting with Castellani Vermentino ($15.99), a bright, dry white from Tuscany with herbal nuances and citrus flavors, followed by Necotium Malvasia di Jacopo ($16.99), a light bodied but rich-textured Malvasia from northern Italy with ripe stone fruit flavors. For reds we have Sangervasio Chianti ($13.99), an amazing value for Chianti with rustic undertones and dried red fruit flavors, followed by Terre del Barolo Barolo ($35.99), a great Piedmont Nebbiolo from 2010 vintage showing beautiful maturity and complexity, and we'll finish things off with Poggio Antico Rosso di Montalcino ($35.99), a bold, earthy Sangiovese from a renowned Brunello producer.
