We may have to ask permission for lots of things but, what we want to do with our lives, what we want to accomplish in life, our attitude about life, and what we want to believe in life do not require permission.

Yes, there will be nay sayers telling us all of the reasons we are doomed to failure if we try:  Your mother and father didn't do this or that, people from your walk in life don't do it, it has never been done before and on and on.  These are excuses, many times excuses others have made up for their own shortcomings and failures.

If you believe it and want it badly enough, go for it.  Permission is not required.  "I don't need permission. Get out of my way.  No one is going to stop me."
