Guilford COUNTY CENTER / Community Gardens
January Community Garden Newsletter
January 24, 2020

Happy New Year, all!
For 2020, we are trying out a new format to connect with community gardener in Guilford County. Instead of sending out the GardenWise Newsletter three times a year, we will send out a shorter, monthly update to community gardeners. Please share this newsletter with other community gardeners in Guilford County.

Free seeds for community & school gardens!  February 1 & 8, 10am-12pm
Feb 1: N.C. Cooperative Extension Guilford County Center
Feb 8: High Point Public Library

Do you collect seeds? Bring seeds from last year to share. Gardening experts will be available to answer questions and get you started.   Note We're asking that this event not be posted publicly, instead share it directly with individuals and groups who are part of, or starting, school or community gardens.
Guilford Community Garden Directory
We are creating a community garden directory, and we need your help! We ask that ALL community & school gardens please submit an entry online by February 2020. This will help us direct volunteers and gardeners to your garden, and will take less than 10 minutes. If you need assistance filling out the form, please contact Quina to set up a time to stop by the office ( [email protected] or 336-641-2427). Thank you for your collaboration!
Community Garden Leaders Training: February 22 & 29, 9:30a-4p
