Wash your hands after touching trash and recycling bins
Just a reminder to wash your hands or use a disposal glove while moving your trash and recycling bins. Thousands of bins are picked-up every day and could potentially be a hotspot for COVID-19.
Bulk Trash Suspended
To ensure the health and well-being of our employees and residents, the Township Municipal Building and Department of Public Works Administrative Offices will remain closed to the public until further notice. All essential Township operations – including police and public works, will continue functioning. Emergency services will continue.

At this time, due to lower than normal staffing levels and measures to stop the spread of COVID-19, trash and recycling services in certain areas may be delayed. We ask for your patience and cooperation during this time.

Republic Services has temporarily suspend bulk collection. This will help to avoid disruptions in trash and recycling collection, and keep Republic employees from touching residents’ personal items. Residents who have bulk trash are asked to secure it for later disposal when normal business resumes.

If your trash is missed, please leave it curbside. It will be collected. Please contact the Department of Public Works with any questions at publicworks@chtownship.com or (856) 424-4422.
