State employees helped foster children through Christmas Kids Campaign   

Governor Kemp's office and state agencies partnered with Clark Howard's Christmas Kids and the Georgia Department of Human Services' Division of Family and Children Services to help bring holiday cheer to children in need. The generosity of state employees provided more than 1,000 foster children with presents to open on Christmas morning.  Read more

Communities receive financing for environmental infrastructure projects       

The GEFA board of directors awarded $7.6 million to nine communities for water, wastewater, and sewer infrastructure improvements during its November meeting.  Read more

State Revolving Fund call for projects period ends January 31      
 
The 2020 Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) and Drinking Water SRF call for projects period is open through January 31, 2020.  Read more
City of Jefferson rewarded for its water stewardship
     
The city of Jefferson received its WaterFirst designation on December 16, 2019, during a ceremony at the monthly City Council meeting.  Read more
