AFFINITY X : DIGITAL 101 WEBINAR
An announcement was made during KBA's annual conference that that the Board of Directors had voted to partner with Affinity X to launch a new digital service for KBA member stations. The announcement gave a brief overview of the new service.

In coming weeks, we will be sharing video webinars from Affinity X to take a deeper dive into the new service, how it works, the products available and the potential for new revenue at your station.

This week however, we wanted to begin with a brief elementary introduction into the world of digital. We call this... DIGITAL 101... take a look.
MIDWEST BROADCAST & MULTIMEDIA TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE
Over 200 engineers and exhibitors gathered on Thursday in Columbus for the first Midwest Broadcast & Multimedia Technology Conference. The conference was co-sponsored by the Ohio Association of Broadcasters, Indiana Broadcasters Association and the Kentucky Broadcasters Association.

KBA President, Chris Winkle, along with KBA Director of Engineering & Technology, Scott Cason, were on hand with several Kentucky members to participate in the conference. A variety of topics were covered in breakout sessions, including; ATSC 3.0, all digital AM, regulatory issues, EAS, digital revenue and cloud based services, just to name a few. Below are a few pictures from the conference.
