CCSD93 strives to maximize the academic, social & emotional potential of each student.

Dear Friend of CCSD93,
A Message From Superintendent Hill
This past week, I was pleased that we were able to welcome a limited number of students into our buildings for specific services. We have been in contact with the DuPage County Regional Office of Education (ROE) throughout the day today. While the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD) has not yet officially issued its weekly update to the Community Transmission Risk Levels, I am happy to report that the ROE has confirmed with the DCHD that the county remains in the "Moderate" Community Transmission Risk Level. This keeps us on track to welcome preschool through 5th grade students back following our revised Reopening Plan timeline, originally shared with families on September 10.
I'm thrilled that CCSD93 will be able to start welcoming preschoolers back next week. As each grade level is brought back, families of students who have selected Hybrid In-Person Learning will receive specific communications in the week or so prior to returning informing or reminding them of:
  • Health and safety protocols, including information on completing CCSD93's mandatory Self-Screener daily, information on their grouping placement (Group A with a.m. in-person classes, Group B with p.m. in-person classes)
  • What to bring on the first day
  • Busing information, if applicable, and more.

Families who have chosen fully Remote Learning will receive a message with their group placement and what to expect in terms of timing and instruction.

For our in-person learners, the following are the most critical health measures that our families and students must practice in order to maintain a safe learning environment.

Please know, as previously shared, as these weekly health metrics are updated in future weeks, they may cause us to halt our return to in-person schooling if the county's Community Transition Risk Level transitions to Substantial. Any of the following factors may also cause us to pause our return if they reach unacceptable levels.
Thank you for your continued support. Please review the following articles for more on the latest from CCSD93.

Sincerely,

David H. Hill, Ed.D.

This school year, the presentations will be presented virtually until further notice. Review this year's lineup in the brochure here and mark your calendar to attend those of interest to you. You'll find links to join them virtually at   www.glenbardgps.org.
