68 Hours of Hunger
Sanborn Ends 68 Hours of Hunger is a local volunteer organization that sends a weekly bag of food home with students at risk for experiencing food insecurity (68 hours is the time frame between school lunch Friday and breakfast Monday).  We will be putting a collection bin in the foyer if anyone wishes to donate any of our requested items (from the list below).  Also if you know a middle school student who could benefit from the program please contact Karen Emery.

Honor Society Annual Food Drive
The honor society is running our annual food drive and this year it's better than ever!  There will be a winning classroom for each grade level.  We decided to start it after Nature's Classroom so sixth grade will have the same amount of time to collect as the other grades.  Food collection classes will be in period one on an A day.  If you don't have a box with a label in your room yet, you should be getting one this Thursday, but don't let that stop you form collecting food.  Winners will be announced the week after and pizza parties will be scheduled with the winning classrooms' teachers.  The food list was put in your mailbox and I attached it along with the Kingston Food Pantry list.  Thank you for participating and helping the honor society with this community service project.

Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
