Principals Message
Dear Fallback,

Happy 2020! There is a lot going on at ECC! Enrollment is open for the 2020-21 school year for our current students and will open to the public on January 31st. Please share about our school enrollment date with others you know in our school district who have preschoolers. We are currently enjoying the Blockfest exhibit and look forward to seeing the families who join us tonight or tomorrow morning! Playgroups and music start back up for the winter/spring session on January 27th. Our Valentine's parties will be held on February 7. We love having our families join us at ECC!

During the first few years of life, children learn more and at a faster pace than at any other time in life. You, as their parents, help shape your child’s future through the kinds of experiences you provide. Your baby was born to learn and as a parent, you are your child’s first and most important teacher.
The Maize Parents as Teachers (PAT) program offers free playgroups, developmental screenings (including SPOT vision and OAE hearing), playgroups, music classes, evening events and personal visits. To learn more or enroll go to: https://bit.ly/Maize266PAT or call Michelle at 462-8405.

Hand washing 101

Regular hand washing is the best defense against germs that unfortunately cling to little hands that pick up and touch lots of interesting things. Make hand washing a habit: Teach kids to wash their hands before and after they eat, after they use the potty, and whenever they come home from an outing. Use water and soap: Kids often want to rinse their hands quickly, but that isn't enough. Lather up and wash hands for at least 20 seconds, try singing ABC song to increase the length of time you wash.
