| CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS Fun Fact - Did you know we are reinstalling stone remnants from the old St. Rita Church onto the new building? This is just one of the many ways we are paying homage to the St. Rita legacy in downtown Milwaukee. Stay tuned for more facts in the weeks to come!
In addition to putting the finishing touches on the exterior, crews have completed the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection rough outs in the independent living tower and continue rough carpentry in the assisted living tower. Drywallers are sweeping through apartments working their way down from the 6th floor. Painting, casework and wood-grain resilient flooring will follow. St. Rita Church is well on its way to completion, with final painting in progress. The front stained glass windows have been installed and flooring, light fixtures and cabinetry are in the queue.
