|
|
As you are likely aware, the Kentucky Broadcasters Association proudly partners with the Radio Talent Institute in an effort to grow the next generation of broadcasters. The Institute curriculum focuses on almost every aspect of radio including on-air, sales, production, promotions, digital, sports, news and engineering. Nearly 70% of the students who complete the Institute begin a career in radio or a related field, including television.
I’m pleased to announce that the Institute is no longer just for college students. Beginning in 2019, the Institute will extend the same opportunity to part-timers and interns at your station. This may be a tremendous opportunity to invest in the future of your station. But I need your help to get the word to prospective students. Please click
here
, print the information and invitation packet and share with individuals that you believe would benefit from attending the Institute.
The Institute will be held on the campus of Western Kentucky University, July 22-31, 2019. The registration deadline is March 1, 2019, however there is a little cost break for submitting the forms before February 1
st
. Space is limited to only 25 students, so please share the information as soon as possible.
If you have any questions about the information packet or would like the forms sent directly to an interested individual, please email Taylor Wade with the National Radio Talent System.
