LIFELONG LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

Mussar: The Jewish Path to Self-Improvement:  Mussar, literally "ethics," is the Jewish approach to character development. We all strive to become better people, but what does Judaism have to teach us about closing the gap between our high ideals and our day to day actions? Each week, we will focus on a different character trait to study and practice. From compassion to patience, discipline to humility, contentment, mindfulness, and so many more - we will learn classical Jewish texts in the Mussar tradition, and support each other as we continue to grow into better people and holier Jews.   Taught by Rabbi Dermer on Mondays at 7pm.

Parasha at the Plaza:  Join Rabbi Dermer at Bagel Plaza for a nosh and exploration of the weekly Torah portion. We'll learn a range of commentaries on the Parasha, and discuss their meaning in our own lives. All experience levels and Hebrew abilities welcome. Bring a friend, take a bagel break, and add a little extra spirituality into the week.  Taught by Rabbi Dermer on Tuesdays at 10am. Location: Bagel Plaza. Receive 20% off your nosh during the session.
