Maker Studio 1 - 6 Class Program
Thursdays in January at the Center
Join us for a brand new set of classes on Thursday afternoons from 4 to 5pm @ the Center, beginning January 10th!
Roadrunner Presents: Maker Studio 1 is a 6 week program designed to fit the S.T.E.A.M. learning objectives! Students will explore art making that utilizes math and science. Measuring tools such as protractors, rulers, and compasses are used. Projects include linear perspective, grid enlargement, and radial designs.
For students 7-11 years old, no experience necessary.
$125 registration fee is for 6 classes: 1/10, 1/17, 1/24, 1/31, 2/7, & 2/14.

Printmaking - 6 Class Program
Wednesday Evenings in January at the Center
Join us for a brand new set of classes on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 7pm @ the Center, beginning January 9th!
Daffy Duck Presents: Printmaking is a 6 week program full of fun, hands-on printmaking projects! Students will learn a variety of printmaking techniques with an emphasis on the transference of images. Projects include monoprints, natural & recycled impressions, and trace monotypes.
For students 12-15 years old, no experience necessary.
$155 registration fee is for 6 classes: 1/9, 1/16, 1/23, 1/30, 2/6, & 2/13.

Paint Like the Pros - 6 Class Program
Tuesday Afternoons in January at the Center
Join us for a brand new set of classes on Tuesday afternoons from 4 to 5pm @ the Center, beginning January 8th!
Pepe Le Pew Presents: Paint Like the Pros is a 6 week program perfect for the budding painter! Students will enjoy learning many different painting techniques through the use of color, tools, and brush strokes. Projects include color mixing, still life, and the use of traditional vs. non-traditional tools.
For students 7-11 years old, no experience necessary.
$125 registration fee is for 6 classes: 1/8, 1/15, 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, & 2/12.

Sew Easy - 6 Class Program

Tweety Presents: Sew Easy is a 6 week program perfect for students looking to learn hands-on sewing techniques! Each blunt needle hand sewing project teaches a new stitch while creating a special keepsake. Projects include multi-layer attachments and stuffing.
For students 12-15 years old, no experience necessary.

Storytime - 6 Class Program
Monday Mornings in January at the Center
Join us for a brand new 6 week program on Monday mornings from 10 to 11am @ the Center, beginning January 7th!
Kitty Presents: Storytime is a 6 week parent child creative experience that couples visual arts with literature. A book is real aloud and followed by a creative, hands-on project that relates to the story.
For parents & children 15 months to 3 1/2 years old.
$90 registration fee is for 6 meet-ups: 1/7, 1/14, 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, & 2/11.

The Third Dimension - 6 Class Program

Join us for a brand new set of classes on Wednesday afternoons from 4 to 5pm @ the Center, beginning January 9th!
Marvin Martian Presents: The 3rd Dimension is a 6 week program perfect for those looking to get creative with 3D! Three dimensional projects stimulate spatial reasoning and higher learning concepts. This program emphasizes using our creativity for construction. Projects include paper bending and collage, 3D relief, clay molding, and wire bending.
For students 7-11 years old, no experience necessary.

Drop In & Draw!
Free Monthly Program
3rd Saturday of Every Month
Every Third Saturday of the Month Beginning
January 19, 2019!
The Chuck Jones Center for Creativity presents a free program, Drop In & Draw! Held every third Saturday of the month from 10 AM to noon at the Center in South Coast Collection (SoCo). Each month a cartoon character from the fertile imagination of our namesake, Chuck Jones, one of the father's of Bugs Bunny and the Road Runner, will be our theme. Good for ages 5 + with four activity stations that feature coloring sheets for the little ones, model sheets on light tables, step-by-step instruction on how to draw the character, and a construction project.
January will feature Bugs Bunny, followed by (in order): Daffy Duck (February), Marvin Martian (March), White Seal (April), Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner (May). One of our teaching artists will be on hand at each Drop In & Draw along with our knowledgeable and creative volunteers.
