That includes the scope and value of our programs, accessibility and convenience, plus self-reported outcomes. Opal and Ed Cook for Clients & Staff
|
DOORWAYS President/CEO Opal M. Jones and Board Chair Ed Giganti prepared a taco salad lunch for Cooper House residents and staff. This has been an annual tradition for the duo to cook for residents and staff, but was paused last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Staff and residents alike were excited to gather, eat good food, and socialize.

Donation Drive for Emergency Housing Program

We would like to thank Saint Louis University student Abby Campbell for hosting an Emergency Housing donation drive at her on-campus dorm. Abby collected sheets, towels, snacks, and various hygiene products to assist those who need it the most. Thanks Abby!

We are seeking an organized and friendly First Impression Associate who can be the welcoming face to our Cooper House facility. This person must maintain total professionalism when interacting with all stakeholders, including residents, staff and outside guests. The ideal candidate will have the compassion needed to work in an incredibly client-centered environment and the ability to keep confidentiality at all times. DELTRICE WREN
DOORWAYS is happy to introduce the newest member of our Cooper House nursing team: Deltrice Wren. As a CNA since 2007, Deltrice has worked at the Missouri Department of Mental Health and Cooperative Home Care Associates. Ms. Wren is a part-time staffer who thoroughly enjoys visiting with our residents and helping them in any way she can. You can normally find Deltrice working weekends and helping on days when our full-time staff need some well-deserved vacation time. Welcome Deltrice!

Timely Donation of Sheets & Towels
|
The Women's Disciples from Webster Groves Christian Church donated new sheets and towels for clients in need at DOORWAYS. These gifts were very timely. Brenda Malone, Own Home Program Director, upon receipt of the goods indicated that she was needing to buy sheets and towels that very weekend.
